After years of waiting for Merck to do whats right, we now have confessions from physicians and academics that falsified medical statistics and have made a public statement that Vioxx never did anything for pain or help any disease. I and many others believe that these actions are criminal and should be address as such by the Justice Department.

Vioxx was the only thing that ever helped my menstrual pain. I was very sad when it got taken off the market. Of course, now I've found that Cod Liver Oil pills do the same thing.

How many people are blaming companies like Merck for their own poor choices? How many are overweight, sedentary people with poor lifestyles? How many are smokers, or abuse other substances like alcohol or drugs?
$5B is being paid out. Merck might have used that money in research for a new drug that may have cured one of the horrible diseases that kill millions around the world every year. Instead it will be spent on lawsuits by people who are looking for someone to blame for their own acts.

Innocent people are dying around the world. Every day, children with incurable diseases; mothers with cancer or AIDS; elderly men and women with dementia, emphysemia, or other painful and deadly diseases. Cures are waiting to be found, medications are waiting to be discovered, and lives are begging to be saved, but extortion from these lawsuits are taking the money that drug companies could be using to find those cures. VPEG, do you know that you are killing men, women and children? Do you care?
