my husband was deployed and passed away this year, it is really hard given that we have a little baby girl who will grow up without a father. to any man or woman that has been or is going over seas, i a,m praying for your safe home coming. thank you for all that you do.

Im a soon-to-be navy fiance. He's about to enlist in the navy. I gotta tell you it scares me a little thinking about him being away for so long. But he says it'll help our life together.

Hi i'm new to this. I am engaged to a military guy. We connected while he was here in the states. I never imagined we would get serious or that i would have to experience him being over seas. We went our separate ways before he was deployed. I didn't know he was leaving. He never mentioned it. Well, he looked me up after he was gone. We reconnected & got serious. Now we're engaged. just watched my love get on a plane and go back to duty again. as hard as it is, all the people i know are in the same position and i hold that one common ground if nothing else. we hold strong. we face the new long streach of time w/out them. its the little things like their glances, a kiss in the morning, the feel of being in their arms, that we despratly hold onto till we can see that blissful smile on their face when we greet them home. we have to be harder than a rock till our hearts r home
