  • very nice rendition greg is the master of broken chords and some really unusual chords. and you made it sound great on a 6 string with the chorus effect ( I assume) while gregg uses a 12 string. and of course he sings it..which is the real trick. still a beautiful job..wonder what you could do with a newer martin or taylor or ...??

  • @nootaramus Thanks- This is just my Yamaha APX and a 15w Line 6 amp on the factory "clean" preset. Good reliable combo. Maybe when I hit the lottery :)

  • 3 people have never been turned on...

  • @silverstox Seems to be a rash of "dislikes" lately.

Maybe they can post their own renditions :)

  • @303y03 You got that right---if they are so good, then let them put up or shut up! You did a damned good job----hands on the best on the net and we appreciate it! You made my day!

  • @IdolHans Glad you enjoyed it-

  • I have to be honest. when i first clicked on this video, i thought. there's no way,, but let's give a listen anyways. I have to say. i am very impressed! you do this song wonderfully. I absolutely love this song, you have done Mr. Greg Lake great justice. I am sure he would be very proud to see how well you play his music. That's taken alot of time to perfect, but by joe, you have done it. hat's off to you !!

  • I really enjoyed this, thanks.

  • I'd share this with my friends, but I don't seem to have any

  • Yeah thats really nice. I have been trying to play this properly for years and dont have it nailed down so...great job

  • Next time you're in drop D, hold 1, 2 and 3 on the third fret (pinky), 6 on the first (index), and pluck just those strings. You should see where that chord goes in this song ("Still, ...) That should get you to about 99.5 % accuracy to Greg's style.
