The "chamber orchestra," such as it is, is me (violin), Bonnie Insull (flute), and Rich Scher (piano). I regret that I don't remember what the tunes are; we picked a few random ones out of the Barnes book (the standard collection of English dance tunes; you can see a shot of it on the piano stand) at a rehearsal a couple of hours before the ball.

I assume the composer is John Playford. Truly beautiful music. That ensemble performed it excellently. I never get tired of this one!

Does anyone know the music or chamber orchestra or composer? Love the music.

Do You mean a Grand march ? There are three dance tunes used in this fragment, but cannot identify them (what a pity!). Does anybody knows more ?
