This was a little demo I did back in 1991 on the TI-99/4A home computer. It's silly and simple, but I had completely forgotten about it until Bill Gaskil turned it up. He's pretty much the authority on the history of the TI home computer!

I know the music is awful... at the time I was still happy to be able to reply music from the Atari ST (from STOS, in fact, IIRC), and to have simulated waveforms. Also my first time trying something like this. I'd kind of like to try again with what I know these days. ;)

Anyway, enjoy, but I won't be offended if you don't watch all the way through. ;)

(edit: aw... the frame rate isn't good enough to capture the color bars or the scrolling pixels above and below the text, sorry. I need to get a better capture tool. Or fix Classic99's video save. hehe.)

  • @NeoTifasRevenge No, I guess I should be really clear about that, eh? That was a mail order company my friend had set up. ;)

  • This Acer Computing wasn't affiliated with the modern notebook and hardware maker was it?
