This video was originally completed for an undergraduate course, back in December 2010. However, I came across the Fraser Video Contest - http://www.fraserinstitute.org/education-programs/students/video-contest.aspx - and decided to submit this is an entry as it covers the same topics they are asking about.

The goal is to illustrating discrepancies through a comparison of the case of Haiti's earthquake and the Pakistan floods, but further information can be found at the supporting blog - http://pakistanfloodsvideoessay.blogspot.com/

I acknowledge the problematic watermark, as well as other aesthetic lackings. Please be patient with me, I didn't have the time to fix these things before the contest deadline.
