This guitar is for sale in the Bristol area for £150. This Squier Double Fat Strat has been customised by a friend of mine many moons ago to resemble the Tom Delonge Signature before they released the Squier version. It plays and sounds very VERY similar to the ACTUAL Fender Delonge Strat which I'm also selling to fund a new piano and customisations to other guitars...
It has the very same, very amazing Seymour Duncan Invader humbucker that you'll find in the original Fender version (unlike the signature Squiers which have a less powerful 'Detonator' humbucker), and though I don't play it much anymore, I find myself constantly amazed at the tone I get and how easy it feels to play when I do.
It has some slight scuffing on the top edge of the body, a worn looking volume control that is still solid and works perfectly, no backplate (but that's just cool) and the 'Squier' logo was sanded off the headstock before I bought it but the serial number on the back remains.
I will be throwing in a new set of Ernie Ball strings and a rather lovely Fender gig bag (the soft ones with lots of padding and shoulder straps) and possibly a strap too if I can find a spare one! Yay!
Happy to deliver in the Bristol area, and you're more than welcome to come and plug it into my solid state or valve amp and give it a try.
