PJ2/W8AV on 10.111MHz CW

Contacting Curacao from Vancouver, Washington on 30 Meters using a Yaesu FT-857D running 100 Watts and a Yaesu ATAS-120 mobile antenna. CW is sent using a Bencher paddle which I prefer grasping backwards. That way, I can adjust it's position on the seat while driving and sending Morse at the same time.

FB OM good Q. I never used my paddles backwards like TT. I can see how it gets you a little more room to stretch your arm out.

Yeah I was thinking of the reverse function in my 857 menu, and what it could be used for, and discovered I like it better this way while mobile. I'll check out your video once I finish with this reply. And maybe I'll windsurf in the gorge with you once this weather warms up! I need to get outside more.
