Cablevision is working on bringing web video to the television. The cable provider plans on offering a new service that would wirelessly deliver web content to subscriber's television's. Dubbed PC to TV Media Relay, the service will wirelessly transmit any video content from a computer to a specific cable channel, another move cable companies hope will bridge the gap between web video and cable TV.As Apple preps for the release of the iPad, Dell is hard at work on a tablet of its own. Rather than simply broadcast the USA-Switzerland hockey game live on NBC, the company also made the game available online, in real time. The network also removed entry requirements like submitting your cable account number in order to stream the Olympics live, making it inherently easier to watch Hockey online. The only question is, was this just a fluke or will they continue to keep NBC.com open until the end of the games?
