Elevator - Pepsi Forum - Downtown Montreal

A ride on the Thyssen elevator in the old Forum where the Montreal Canadiens used to play before they moved to the Bell Centre down the street. It's a nice glass elevator with a great view of the entire building. There's not much original left though, besides the exterior walls. At the end there is a bonus ride on the Future Shop express elevator.

Something I noticed about this elevator though was that it has a single rope in the centre of the roof. Maybe most are built like that, but since this a glass elevator and no shaft walls, it might be unique.

Another great elevator in downtown Montreal :) I wasn't lucky enough to see a game at the Forum, only once in the fortress known as the Molson Centre (I refuse to recognize Bell!! lol) I wish they had kept the hockey stick escalators hehe. My Dad's university grad was one of the last events in the "old" forum, in 1967 before the massive overhaul.
