  • probably the most beautiful service of this couple to the scene. Caballé is unapproachable in Salome

  • @PastaAndPavarotti. So you like Pavarotti but that doesn't mean you have to insult Jose Carreras. JC lost a good friend when Pavarotti died. So go and stuff yourself with pasta and may be you will die of Pancreatic Cancer as he did. As for JC he is still singing and bringing happiness to many. Bravo Carreras! Sing on, we still want to hear you!

  • Thank you for bringing this to us. Here we can fully appreciate Carreras's statement that--regardless of her age and size--he fell in love with Caballe every time they got on stage and he heard That Voice! She makes Salome come alive, whether she is Strauss's Salome or Massenet's Salome. She becomes that child seductress. You also caught Carreras when he was still singing beautifully. What a Jean!

  • Que bello habla usted, gracias y de acuerdo con todos ellos.

  • Who is the conductor?

  • Carreras as a young man has a glorious voice but I think he wasn't too careful to guard it and blew it out. So now he has no voice left.

  • they revel in there own sounds a little too much, but its very good ......

  • they perform the theme of love so authentic and lovely, and their beautiful voices express the fatal situation in such a spectacular way...
