Also it isn't male chauvinism that runs the Qunari. Chauvinism implies that they don't let women fight because they lack the male reproductive organ, while in actuality, the Qun don't let women fight because a typical woman is physically weaker then a typical man. So, instead of having women strive in physical jobs, the Qun dictates that they should pursue mental tasks.
This way of thinking exists, not because of sexism, but because the Qun does not acknowledge individuality.

@TheDoodCamp Mental fortitude and natural talent has nothing to do with it since this is a matter of cultural contradiction. I can believe that Salit trained her in secret, showing signs and hints of his rebellious nature, but when Tallis's talks about the Ben-Hassrath, she pretty much confirms, or at least implies, that they know of her training and have no problem with it. So that theory is a bit of a bust.

@Serenity2Witchs you make a good point, but I believe that the fact that she was raised by the Qunari in their male chauvinistic culture shows she must have an extreme amount of mental fortitude as well as a great natural born talent for what she dose. And the Qunari seem to be mostly a warrior based race thus, Salit was most likely training her to be a secret weapon of sorts.

The DLC is not worth the money I meen It was good but when I saw that Tallis will never come back I just told my self not worth my money I bought the Warrior item back and those Items are better than those I find in Mark of the assassin. If Tallis would have stayed I would have been worthy. PS. DA2 Tallis Mass effect Tali Resemble? :p

@PinkNinjaMaster Sorry, but that's not how it works. The Qun is not about what you want, you do what you're told to do and that's it, if you shrug off any aspect of it, you're deemed Tal-Vashot and exiled. And yes, Sten does mention it if you're a female warden, women among the Qunari are farmers, merchants and stuff like that, never warriors.

@Serenity2Witchs I AGREE. Thank You. I'm Sorry But She's...Annoying...Dragon 2 Would Be Soooooo Much Better Without Her(And Is, Screw Her...) She's Not Even Attractive. It's Killing Me.

@Serenity2Witchs Well, I've played DA:O four times and I can't recall ever running across that bit of information. Anyways, if Tallis would live 100% by the Qun, then she would have moved to Par Vollen, no? So, she did take on the major teachings but simply shrugged off that aspect to live how she wants.
The trailer looks good, but I don't think Ms. Day actually did that much research on Dragon Age, or even DA Origins for that matter. I only say this because her character, Tallis, is from the Qun, a society that refuses to believe that women can fight.
Anyone who's played the game knows about the Sten conversation regarding women and how they do not fight, so it's confusing that Day would make a combat female from the Qun, completely disregarding previously set continuity.
