@shurtugal81 It's a part of "Dharmacide"
-
how come there's no consistency in the monsters size, sometimes it's just a small cloud, and here it's a fucking tornado

Sawyer's classic line "Open the damn door!!!'

What song starts playing at 3:38?

I really wish they had kept the sound effects from the smoke monster/guns/shouting at the same the sad music played and Ben said goodbye to his daughter. IMO, it would have been more dramatic/exciting.

@MyMojosSoDope ...A lot of stuff that Ben discusses in the last few seasons suggest that the monster had singled Ben out and fed him false information about Jacob, the cabin, the summoning chamber, the purpose of the monster, etc. Perhaps just for the purpose of killing Jacob (we know from the events in season six that MIB is a veeeeeeeery patient person).

@MyMojosSoDope It was all but confirmed that Ben's mother was the monster. Considering everything with Ben being shut out of everything Jacob-related, his dead mother showing up outside of the fence and seemingly-luring him out into the jungle (plus coaxing him to shut down the fence, when you technically think about it), the whole cabin-affair and Ilana's line in 'The Incident' about someone else having been occupying it, the reveal of MIB being Christian and everyone else who was dead...

@MyMojosSoDope I was obsessed with Egyptian mythology for a long time while I was in college. All signs within the show point to the Egyptians having treated the monster like the creature Ammit (specifically that depiction in the sublevels of the temple in 'Dead is Dead').
Jacob's story in 'Ab Aeterno' suggests that the monster manipulated everyone who ever came to the island, posing as all sorts of things -and the Ancient Egyptians were very religious, he would have used that to his advantage.
this was the first time i actually appreciated that things existence
