Chicago Matters is a multimedia public affairs series that is put together by various media outlets in Chicago to cover a specific topic over the span of a year. This years (2007) topic is immigration and its impact on Chicago and surrounding areas. For Chicago Public Radio's contribution to this series, CATO Television was commissioned to produce a video to open the show and start a discussion between panelists and audience.
This event took place at the Hemmens Cultural Center in Elgin before a live audience.

Interesting, I never knew much about Elgin and this gave a good condensed history especially about the various ethnic groups.
