Bell vs. Teksavvy's George Burger on the facts on Bandwidth

Watch as George Burger from Teksavvy ISP states the facts on how much it costs bell for bandwidth: virtually nothing, between 1 and 2 cents per gigabyte. Bell wants to charge us 2 dollars per gigabyte and lower our monthly allowance to 25gb a month.

Bell has got my mother completely brainwashed, she's paying $20-50 a month extra for usage. I showed her Teksavvy but she refuses to leave Bell because they told her she is a valued customer.

Not to take it out of context, I believe he was referring to the heavy users. However the statement made sums up what Bell is trying to do. Just imagine Bell as a group of Shareholders like this guy. Bell is a vastly huge company that is not going down due to costs of operation, they just want more profit instead of improving.

Leary is correct (as a shareholder) to like UBB. It is an amazingly dark way to suck money out of people without improving existing networks. However if its approved. The only real alternative is to go to another country, because its a form of tyranny and there is no other option (Rogers is about the same).
