I too have heard and sung this song 1000 times from the my school days in Kenya wearing shorts. The specially released short movies with Sunil Dutt, Raaj kumar, Rajendra kumar and Dilipkumar in it were shown all around in Nairobi streets. It was mesmerising then as it is today. I think the music was given by Khayyam...please correct me if I am wrong. There was another song with same star cast also released but I have simply forgotten the words.

I heard this song about 47 years ago. Today I am 54 years old. During these years, I have heard this song for about 1000 times. But during shifting of my home, I probably, lost my tape carrying this song. This song, along with the song Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon, gives me the same kind of pride and satisfaction even today, which I have been getting from it for last half century. Thanks a lot to the brother/sister who uploaded it for everybody's preservation. Ashok Mehta
@tyagnesh I remember it too. In fact I like this song better than Ai mere watan ke logo. I felt it when I was 9 yrs old, & I still feel the same today. This just sends my blood racing...It is as motivating toda as it was then
