  • @SheepEl It is, it should be at $4000 at the most.

  • Sorry that this comment is a year late. My 392E did come. I actually had to send it back. It was making a grinding sound as it ran, so I sent it back and got a new one. Last Christmas I got the Stephen Girard Passenger cars to match it. Anyway wow! that is a steal for the State set. On eBay they were selling a Lionel 400E with state set passenger cars just like you have. They called it the BROADWAY LIMITED SET, but anyway it went for $1,000,000. I personal think thats ridiculous.

  • A very nice layout. The 384 sounds like the real thing as it pulls the tank cars. My hat off to you Sir, thanks for sharing.

  • I hope you finally got your 392. I bought the 400E used for $700 which is ok - I probably could have done a little better, but the state cars were a steal at under $1000.

  • (this is an addition to the previous comment) i just recently bought a 392E and it is still being shipped. i cant wait for it to come and i hope it looks as nice as your trains look when it is running, thatis if it EVER comes...

  • how much did you pay for the 400E and matching state set passenger cars?
