"The Jury Team" We believe in Democracy, Accountability and Transparency If you do then vote for The Jury Team on 4th June to make a real change to politics.

The Jury Team has 5 proposals for improving governance in the European Union. They are:

* MEPs should be free to vote in line with the needs of the UK and of their constituents and should not be required to obey any party whips.

* MEPs should only have expenses approved if they submit receipts, should publish details of all their expenses and outside earnings and should have their pensions brought into line with the average for the EU private sector.

* MEPs should serve for no more than three five year terms.

* The European Parliament should immediately set up an Independent MEPs Complaints Commission to investigate accusations about MEPs and their staffs.

* Referendums should be called across the European Union whenever requested by 5% of the EUs electorate.

These proposals will start the long process of cleaning up the European Parliament. We will bring the vested interests in the European Commission to account and return power to the electorate.

Esther, making the next election 'more exciting'is not a reason for alternative government. The MPs Final Salary based pension scheme must be stopped now, particularly if MPs standing down trigger early payment of these excessive unfunded risk free benefits. PLEASE CONFIRM THE JURYTEAM WILL NOT ALLOW ITS ELECTED MPs TO JOIN THE MPs FINAL SALARY PENSION SCHEME, and instead have a Personal Pension which is open to the same investment and stockmarket risks as the rest of us. You need to know that you and I are the Jury team, your idea seems pretty sensible, why don't you join the movement and put forward ideas. The jury team needs ideas and the only people that can instigate new ideas are the members themselves, the link to the movement is in the info panel of this video.

The Jury team is a better alternative to what we have already, don't you think?
