HE IS ONE OF THE BEST!!! He usually plays doumbek and drum kit, and about a billion other percussion instruments. THIS IS NOT HIS BEST!!!

I thought the Tar was a stringed instrument. I've seen something like that, but they call it a Zarb in Iran.

Not a bad darbuka player relative to where? Mendocino CA? You have watched the Darbuka vids by dumb teenagers in Turkiye, right? Make Anders cry. God bless those who are kind to the incompetent. ;:^) Anyhow, Yousef Sheronick is a bad mamma jamma! I've longed to see a duet between him and Glen(or between Glen and Zohar Fresco on Daf, which I think happened at some point. Riq has a few very nice players in the USA for sure, but Glen is the best.

Do you know Yousef Sheronick's work on riq? You can see videos here on YouTube. I think there are quite a few excellent riq players here in the US, but few have made videos/DVDs.
