This storyline wasn't as "deep" as JER's previous storylines. The Affair, Maison Blanche, Possession, Aremid, and Lady in a Cage I will always consider a masterpiece of the soap opera genre. Those stories were ripe with symbolism, metaphors, mythology, and character study. Nevertheless, whether the quality of JER's writing started to decline at this point, The Secret Room was and is still a highly entertaining and addictive as hell storyline. I've never hated Kristen more than I hate her now!

So agree with your description! You couldn't shut John up about sensing Mar's presence during The Paris s/l but here it's almost non-existent! As usual I love your post, 45, keep it alive! Lol
