@jukeboxxxe everyone knows the sex pistols sucked anyways.
-
anyways, these guys are crusty as fuck, which crust would also be a subgenre in punk , and in portland oregon so i would not doubt if they are train hopers and homeless, but anyways if those facts are true it is clear why the decided to do folk, i mean they live on the road and have tales to tell plus i'm sure they squat isn't that punk enough so leave the crusty's alone punk was and is never about the fashion it's about the attitude.

@catjoyyoung punk has ALWAYS been about the clothing... Sid vicious was chosen because of how he lookede NOT becasuse he was particularly hardcore...
Punk for me today is the Saints. Yesterday it was Schlong and Pig Children. Tomorrow it will probably be the Weirdos if I it finishes downloading in time.

no, this is punk because these fuckers live it, it's not a style, it's not a certain sound that makes punk what it is, it's a lifestyle. And these three are the very definition of the genre of punk.

@catjoyyoung Punk is a lifestyle. It always has been. Even Greenday used to be punk. They were homeless and played their hearts out, Now they're millionaires. I don't know whether or not they kept their mojo.

@PDXFANATIC The music is folk. Sorry to spin you out but I am not 12. I was around for the original Punk era when it actually WAS defined by the music and not by the clothing.

@catjoyyoung The music is folk. You win. I grew up very involved in running desert shows in Las Vegas, NV during the early 80's, touring and playing in many bands and "punk shows" often had a variety of "punk rockers" playing their spin on various forms of music. Punk is a lifestyle & also a brand of music. ;●D
