So the fact that the incumbent won is evidence that the US enticed the Lebanese to vote for the Future movement, I doubt that. Once again the factor that decided the election was the high turnout of the Christian voters for the Future movement with the fear that Lebanon would move into the Iranian-Syrian axis greatly affecting the external politics of the country.

I just now realized that you were pissing all over this comment forum. Apparently, Likud's talking-points and the absolute reality of today are the same. So that would make Likud's statements Not talking points, but reality. Maybe you should try some of that instead of those halcyons you've been popping. I'm American, and not a Jew. No surprizes here. Hezbollah was trying to make a political statement, not win an election. Hezbollah winning would have cut off the money faucet and they know that the more we send to Lebanon, the more they can steal from the people. Here's a "fun-fact" for you Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah drives around in a stolen Cadillac that found it's way to him in Lebanon after being stolen in the USA. Hezbollah isn't done by a long shot. War is coming to Israel and Lebanon and Hezbollah are "in".
