Nova cosmetic surgery center presents "Coimbatoreaaa... Kokkaaa..." video album launch at Brookefields claiming to be the first video album for Coimbatore and termed as Coimbatore's anthem. Dr.Vikram of Nova had an immense interest in portraying Coimbatore's unique features in a video and realized this through S16 Productions. This is a 5:30 mins video capturing the essence of Coimbatore in its entirety.
Salient features of the video:
1. 80% of the video comprises of candid shots. This was done in order to depict Coimbatore as it is without any sets or additional cinematic effects.
2. 3 months of work has been put into the video right from penning the lyrics to completing the video. Out of this, 15 days were dedicated for the shooting and immense hard work has been put into it to make sure that live emotions are delivered. Most of the people in the video are anonymous and we are at a loss not knowing how to provide credits.
3. Enormous efforts were taken to match the lyrics with the shots.
4. One sample shot is that of the sun rise where the team waited for the actual sunrise in Maruthamalai, Coimbatore and captured it. The motive is to bring to the audience what Coimbatore really is without any gimmicks.
5. Few of the most important shots in the video are : Koothanda thiruvizha, Ramanathapuram Iyyapan temple vizha, making of world famous Sri Krishna sweets Mysurpa.
6. The video will portray more than 30 places in Coimbatore. This will help promote tourism as outsiders can visualize Coimbatore and learn more about it. The video will be more of a travelling experience through Coimbatore
7. The song and the video are rendered in such a way that it will inspire and motivate Coimbatoreans and will help outsiders derive a positive outlook about the spirit of Coimbatore.
8. Care has been taken to describe Coimbatore's welcoming hand to entrepreneurs and the red carpet it throws to the passionate ones.
9. An imaginary art work of Kovan and Coimbatore etymology has been included in the video thus illustrating Coimbatore's history
10. The song is a combination of folk, ghana, rap and English lyrics.
Credits:
1. T. R. Vijay Anand is the actor cum director of this video. The fact that he adores Coimbatore having been brought up here and now an entrepreneur in Coimbatore helped him bring out the real face of Coimbatore with complete passion.
2. Music by 'Isai Tsunami' Rajesh who has put his heart and soul into the song.
3. Lyrics penned down by Zhaa brought up in Coimbatore has helped bring out the quintessence of Coimbatore that every Coimbatorean will feel proud about.
4. Kovai Express, the lyrics comprising the important places of Coimbatore, has been written by T.R.Vijay Anand
5. The song has been sung by renowned playback singer Ranjith. He has added beauty to the song by his soulful singing.
6. Cinematography by Santhosh Krishnan,Vinod and editing by Prakash
7. The rap portion has been written and sung by Rapper BBB -- The Beat box Machine Bharath
