The First Field Battle at Pennsic 37

The field battle is the grand event at the Pennsic War. It is the only time and place you can see close to 2000 medieval warriors on the field of battle in competitive armored combat.

At Pennsic XXXVII, 2008, the field battle was run 5 times. In the first running, the East Kingdom and her allies defeated the Middle Kingdom and her allies.

@DeathYear2012 never to young to join. unless ur talking about heavy fighting. iv been in the sca since i was 3 and pennsic was my first event :)

@DeathYear2012 This actually happens in the states. You do have to be 18 to do heavy list (What you see here) but you can do youth fighting if you're younger than that.

they need this epicness in America somewhere, iv always been interested in it but im sure im too young to join at the moment.

I wish it was longer too. Unfortunately I JUST missed the first field battle, but made it in time for the second (long story). This one looked like it was fun!
