@nibluana Haha well, you're right! Amy Lee has a much better voice, what I meant was that Anette maybe could have a gothic rock band instead of trying to sing symphonic metal. And you're right, NW with Tarja was EPIC and unique, now it's like listening to any other band...

Wait, Anette doesn't sound ''like Evanescence'' Amy Lee have much much diffrent voice than Anette! (And much better).
Nightwish with Tarja was something special. Now it's just a band.

@darkshadowkorosu Wait, Anette doesn't sound "like Within Temptation". Sharon doesn't have an operatic voice but she doesn't have a pop voice like Anette either. I think they're completely different types of voices: Sharon's voice is pure, really high and in most of the cases resounds in her head while Anette's voice is more limited and it's the result of the belting technique. I guess Anette could fit in a band such as Evanescence.

Toumas is the band, and the instrumentals are still great, but Anette sounds too much like Within Temptation, they were more original with Tarja's vocals. The songwriting is still awesome, but I think Tarja's voice added a certain kind of character to the songs that Anette just can't match... That said, Nightwish will always be a favorite, no matter who the singer is, as long a Tuomas is there.

Nightwish is Nightwish, because of the perfect man who are 'Nighwish'. It was never Nightwish with Tarja. It was Nightwish ánd Tarja.
