Akumajou Dracula - Vampire Killer (known in North America as "Castlevania Bloodlines")for the japanese Genesis : the Mega Drive. In the PAL version of the game (renamed "Castlevania : The New Generation" in Europe), the blood coming from the funtain in Versailles Castle was censored and transformed into normal "blue" water.

  • The people saying that the Fountain was kept red in the US version are correct. I remember that part of the game specifically.

  • you all were right. Funny how my memory may fail sometimes i was so sure i had seen it not becoming red in the US version... Anyway, i'll change the video info.

  • the American version does have the bloody fountain. only the PAL version had that changed.

  • you sure ? mmmh i'll check this out cuz i seem to remember it to be blue in the US as well. if it turns out to be you who was right, i'll change it in my video's description then ;).

  • Allright i checked and you xere right. I'll change it in the video description then.

  • the player SUCKS

  • The only version that had the blood turned blue was {Castlevania - The New Generation} even the title was blue blood. Vampire Killer and Bloodlines thankfully where kept unchanged. I know this because I own all three versions.

  • @TechnoEstate go kill a jew

  • The main menu looks impressive!

  • 0:44 but then he said "Let me rest in peace you damn bitch"

  • I hate those swinging blade things

  • The Japanese and American versions are near perfectly identical! ^_^ However, there are some notable differences:

    1. In the intro, Eric's face is more girly in the Japanese version while the American version gives him a more manly face.

    2. The Japanese version is significantly easier than the American version.

Other than that, they are both superior compared to the PAL version in their own right.

  • nothing insecure about it, I just think he looks cooler and less out-of-place in Bloodlines.

  • @Lifemouse word, pure evfil!

  • @TechnoEstate Not all of us. Just the more annoying ones.
