There are alot of people on this page that seem to know think they know what a star does, and does not do!!
Just remember, a solar flare isnt just something that happens on the surface. That star is enourmous, you could easily fit 1300 planet earth's inside it. Also this was probably just some random scene from another video clip, but who is to say that our nearest star does not have an affect on us here on this small rock..

Longboardaddiction, you are a dumbass. Some scientists theorize that energy particles from the sun penetrates earth and keeps the core hot. So, why couldn't a solar burst be linked to an earthquake? 5 hrs? If you don't know anything about science, don't make comments about scientific subjects.

it's rotating too fast, isn't? i don't know the period of "self-rotation" of the sun, maybe wikipedia knows it, but is improbably that in 20 seconds it makes 10 - 20 degrees.... bah.. dunno... maybe this video is only played faster, but... if so, it doesn't make sense to say "10 min befor the earthquakes" because in reality this video takes hours.... bah!
