It is with great sadness I confirm that fellow youtuber and friend RodgerSwan has passed away. It's a terrible tragedy that someone so young and full of potential has been taken from us.

If you don't know Rodger, take a moment to view some of his videos. There will be no more videos of course, but perhaps subscribing would be a small way in which we could all show appreciation for what all that he shared with us during his life.

Here is a touching post by one of his friends.

  • rodger, i miss you and i wish i got to know you. you were nice, respectful, considerate, funny, but all i know is the list goes on and on. for you are in a better place rodger / tokyo / iwate swan. i hope you are having a blast with god, and i hope to see you in heaven. goodbye until i get to see you. GOD BLESS.

  • I found it strange that as I was celebrating my grandmother's 86th birthday, and my brother's 18th the day before, a man that had touched thousands upon thousands of people had passed away. It really makes me consider that the world really is an ignorant place, and most people go about their lives in happiness while others are filled with misfortune.

One thing I know is that I will never take a birthday for granted again.

  • @KEBABHEAD2610-

    U R ONE F UP GUY.

He pass away n u saying f him!

    No dude f u. U POS

    RIP Rodger.

  • @kebabhead2610 U CAN BURN IN HELL

  • It's very sad. It's always the nicest and kindest people that are gone too soon. He should be made a youtube partner, and his videos (even if only briefly) should be spotlighted on the youtube homepage.

  • Thank you tokyocooney for this wonderful tribute to a great guy. I misses him and had only find out that he had passed a year before the tsunami. I wish I could have stay connected with him more, especially after the Akihabara stabbing incident. Roger, you had done so many things I could only have imagined and now you're truly a free spirit. Peace.

  • I only found out about his death about a month or 2 ago. I thought that it had been awhile since he posted anything, so I went to check out his YouTube profile and saw the latest video and how it mentioned that Rodger died about a year before that video actually got posted. I didn't believe it at first... I didn't want to believe it. But it's true... it's sad, but true. Rodger is dead and he will be missed. And he was only in his 20s... why'd he have to go so young?
