@LakeNipissing they sure dont do that anymore, your not allowed to go anywhere near the water, there isnt boat that comes to get you either, theres a guide line you have to grab onto and pull yourself along back to the side of the pool while upside down where they unhook you.

@shkillz500 there is a booth outside world water park where you register to climb it there and if you make the climb in a certain time limit you get to bungee jump (a minimum $50 value) for free :)

I've seen it also, especially from the hotel, since it faces that way. Never seen anyone try climbing it though.

Holy crap, I didn't think you were supposed to touch the water... I saw 5 people bungee today and none of them were even near touching it.

They offered the choice to touch the water or not, while the waves were running, or not (this was a few years ago). I chose to hit the water while the waves were operating. Until I watched the video, I had no idea I actually hit the water like I requested. It happened so fast I didn't realize it, and my clothes were still dry after!!! Not only did I hit the water, I was almost submerged! Watch the slow-motion part at the end. Amazing... it was so fast, the clothes didn't get wet!
