Since last June 2012, her quarterly CTscans have no evidence of metastatic disease and no tumor recurrence. Her CA19-9's at diagnosis was 21,000+ and have been stable under 35 since about 8 months into treatments. She also tolerated 10 months of folfirinox with no changes to her white blood cells and never needed a break. Incidently, she was diagnosed in 2006 with type 2 diabetes and has been taking Metformin since then. This is the only drug she has been taking since NED in June 2012.

One of the most if not the most informative youtube video about PC I have found. My wife was diagnosed at the age of 57 with stage 4 pc/mets to her liver in July 2011. She tolerated 10 months/9.5 cycles of Folfirinox. After 4 months of treatments, the two spots on her liver disappeared and the 5cm tumor on the body of her pancreas became 4mm. After an additional 6 months of treatments the liver remained clear and the tumor became a scar tissue.
