@lightningsmokerXx The grip helps you throw it as faaarrr as you can. :P
For most of the 80's and 90's, I used Fram just cause that's what I always saw around my father's shop. Now that I'm older and take care of my own equipment, I put in time doing research for repairs and maintenance.

There's also millions of filters to choose from and fram is not on my list.

FRAM made good oil filters in the 80's and early 90's but when they switched to there new design they messed up big time. They are made like shit but they still charge the same amount for them. AC delco also started to make there filters just as badly as fram they also charge the same amount for a shit product.

Fram Oil Filters are GARBAGE. They have paper end caps, poor construction of the filter paper inside and not much of it. They are a crap filter. The only good thing about them is the grip but what's the point the grip doesn't help ur engine.
GOOD OIL FILTERS:
Wix, Napa Gold (made by wix), Purolator Pure One, K&N, Amsoil, some Mobil 1 Filters.
