This completes a request swap with EASvideocreator. The Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant in Vernon, Vermont has had its share of problems in the past, including a cooling tower collapse in 2007. It is so problematic that the VT legislature has not renewed its license for 2012, meaning it will be shut down. However, it has not had a core meltdown. And in this scenario, Residents of Windham County, VT (Where Vernon and VYNPP is located) and Franklin County, MA wake up to news that the problematic power plant has had this unfortunate occurrence...

@Zachstar2000 Your right, But its better standing in the open air, what the state is trying to do is reduce everything they can. Getting inside a car ( Less areas for radioactivity to attach to you ) and not turning on the AC ( It'll blow to your face ). Your right, You will still get radioactivity, But maybe not a serious dose if you were walking in a windy open field. xD

@Pigeonification
Radioactive dust is usually very small and easily carried by air current. I don't see (Not to mention cars offer little to no protection against the gamma rays) How sitting in a care can help you very long.

@Zachstar2000 Its because the radioactivity would collect like a dust inside, but if you turned the AC on it would blow into your face.

I dont understand how a car would offer any protection against contamination anyway. Even with the AC off air naturally circulates through the cabin.
