yeah it does have a noise, a nice electrical whine. Or maybe that was some other thing inside turning but pleasant noise anyway. Very cool scooter.

@Robkat3751 . Yeah the steel body amplifies the hum from the motor. At certain speeds/load it creates a humming noise. I would probably have to put dynamat on the interior body panels, but that would add weight. Thanks for the interest.

What is the speed and range? Is it registered for the road? Do you have a homepage for this coversion?

I am currently running a 48 volt pack, 35 AH batteries, Alltrax programmable controller. Top speed of 35 mph currently. The motor can handle 72 volts with speeds around 51 mph. In the hill country it is only good for about 14 miles. I think I could push it to 25 miles on smoother ground. It being a hub mounted motor makes it hard to change top speed without increasing voltage. I have it titled, and is currently legal to ride. Currently no homepage. It is a great project to ride. Thanks
