Furthermore , "having balls" has nothing to do with it. Having a brain has everything to do with it. Believe me I grew up in the Bronx and been in the service myself, never backed down from ANY fight even when threaten with arms. BUT if I had a loved one with me my FIRST priority is to keep them safe so I'll do whatever has to be done to accomplish this. Totally agree that we should pull out and let the chips fall where they may. HOWEVER be under NO illusion that we'd be right back after the enemy strengthens themselves and attack us again. Why did Obama apologize, it's VERY clear and doesn't take a genius to figure out. KEEPING TROOPS SAFE! What was he supposed to say "Hey pass the marshmallows, let's burn some more"? If so more of our troops would have died. Sometimes you gotta do what you don't want to do to keep others as safe as you can.
