I lve this kid and his performances. Decades ago there was Dylan, years later came Diamond, now comes JC. He is wonderful. The judges underestimate him and his fans. Just watch; his star is rising.

After viewing season eight,and the other seasons, imust say that American Idol can not and will never find another "Jason Castro", he is so unique and is one of a kind, I jusy simply adore him and his voice is so special, you can feel his heart beat, he is the best, he did"t have to win the title, it woul be easier for him to became a great artist because he sings from his soul, just looking at Jason"s eyes can blow you away to an enchanting world, love Jason Castro.|....

He did a good job but I guess I am just used to the power Neil Diamond puts into the song. BTW Dylan and Diamond are the same age and came along, as song writers, about the same time.

I like this song very much and he didn't do any justice to it at all!! I liked very much his vulnerable start but I thought that by 1:04 it was enough and some strength in his performance and voice was required and he just stayed too soft and didn't do anything at all for the song (ha his expression at 1:17). I was even picturing him in karaoke night in a bar being drunk or something. Result: a lackluster rendition. I thought other contestants deserved his spot... (ehem... CARLY!!!)

I've listened to this song so many times and I was always having a peaceful sleep. There is no word to describe Jason Castro as an artist & as a person, I think he is God's blessing to the people who has ears & eyes.

Not one of my faves from Jason, but he did with it what he could. I mean, the theme week was Neil Diamond and even tho I like Neil, there's just not much you can do w/his material. So glad Jason took his time on his forthcoming cd and did it his way. The judges are always telling the contestants to know "what kind of artist" they are or want to be. Jason has always known and stays true to it.

i'm not a pro for comment about people's voce, but i really love how jason sing this song,, somehow it makes me sad and miss somthing.. love his voice...
