My friends bet me that I couldn't pass the basic entrance test for the SEALs. To the winner went a home cooked dinner. To the loser, lifelong ridicule.

  • They require you to do a specific stroke for the swim. Scissor kicks not what ever the hell he was doing.

  • Actually, not true. You may either do sidestroke or breaststroke. I was attempting breaststroke here (not well).

  • I would never pass the real test (but definitely respect the people who attempt it). To win a free dinner from my buddies, I was more than willing to try their watered down version.

  • I could only upload the first 5 minutes of the video for some reason. I'm working on getting the whole thing on there.

  • Non of those situps would have counted. Shoulders have to touch the floor

  • fag

  • I'm glad I never lost my abilities from swim team as a kid, it's suited me well in many areas as an adult. For us, 100M was a warm-up and a cool-down. We started and ended every practice session (Every morning), with a 100M swim. All-in-all we would swim thousands of meters a day. If you're worried about swimming ability, join a competitive team and/or simply push yourself gradually like you would with any other endurance event. Remember, though, ALWAYS have a buddy around!

  • @S2Outbreak yes no shit read it again i said what no pull ups?? as in sarcasm n a question

  • Your not allowed to do breaststroke once you get to RTC, prep, or buds. they allow it in the DEP so that more applicants will pass the initial pst. Im a SO candidate shipping this may.. also, before you get to BUD/S, your last PST is increased to a 1000yd swim, w/ fins, under 20min, pushups and situps are the same, but you gotta get 10 perfect pullups, and run 4 miles under 31 minutes. form on the calisthenics must be perfect. we had a guy get 12, they counted 9, and put him back to the fleet

  • which is harder training? Navy SEAL trainin or Pj training

  • @jameskramer77 good luck getting a seal contract if you get in the pool and do a breast stroke while every other seal candidate does a side stroke. Probably not going to happen. Also, your form on your sit ups was incorrect. Your elbows have to be at a 90 degree angle from your body the entire time and the top of your shoulders must touch the ground. Nice try.

  • lol did the breast stroke on my first pst, and that sucked

  • ha ha ha its 4 20 man lol

  • not untill u do the running and he stpped wen he did enough push ups and sit ups wen u do the real test they expect u to go untill the time runs out and if u touch ur upper back i think it woud be easier cuz going all the way down would be like taking a super quick break and not going all the way down would make more work for his abs
