Panel discussion on the relationship between CNS and various international organizations, including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Comprehensive Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), and United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR). The panel was moderated by Dr. Jonathan Tucker, Senior Fellow at the CNS Washington D.C. Office, and included the participation of Dr. Michael Barletta, Research Analyst at the IAEA, Mr. Jean DuPreez, Chief of External Relations and International Cooperation at the CTBTO, Dr. Patricia Lewis, CNS Deputy Director, and Dr. Randy Rydell, Senior Political Affairs Officer at the Office of Sergio Duarte, High Representative for Disarmament Affairs, United Nations. At the end, IAEA nonproliferation strategy analyst Jenni Rissanen presents an award to Tariq Rauf, Head of Verification and Security Policy Coordination, IAEA for outstanding contribution to the nonproliferation field.
