alice sommer is a phenomenal lady - interestingly enough i was reading that same book when i visited Thereseinstadt earlier in the year - a pianist who gives a concert of all 24 chopin etudes is a wonder, but to do it under the conditions of a concentration camp is almost unbelievable! It is wonderful to have footage of this incredible lady!

I'm reading "A Garden Of Eden In Hell", a book about Alice and Stephan Herz Sommer in Theresienstadt. So incredible - sad and interesting. She was so dedicated to her music, so talented.
