  • Gervais's perfprmance as David Brent is one of the best comedic performances you will ever see. Look at every scene with Gervais in, every detail of his performance is so finely observed. He came up with an idea so original and unique and played the character perfectly. Sorry but Steve Carrell doesn't come close to Gervais when it comes to The Office.

Okay, enjoy your "flawless victory," then, even though there was no "said argument."

  • @AlexWerkmeister712

haha what a coincidence that you would act like arguing over the internet isn't important, AFTER you get owned in a said argument....

There's more to life besides Youtube? NO WAY?!?!?!?!

  • @vigorousAtheist

I wasn't arguing. I was just listing some negative things about our country. Don't take YouTube so seriously, buddy. There's more to life, I promise.

  • @AlexWerkmeister712

Lol of COURSE you copied and pasted someone else's writing.....Couldn't come up with an argument yourself.

And in the comments i posted, i prove that we ARE the richest. And we actually have a below average % of debt when comparing to other western countries. AND we have the highest per capita personal income.

  • @vigorousAtheist

    I just copypasta'd from someone's Yahoo Answer.

Didn't read all of your comments, but we certainly have an astounding debt. I wouldn't dare call us "rich," if we have to borrow money from other countries.

Keep wavin' that flag, good ol' boy!

  • @AlexWerkmeister712 continued- Now it's my turn. The US has the highest ranking hospitals. The US has the highest ranking universities. The US has the largest amount of foreign assets. The US space program is far advanced than any other. The US has won the most olympic gold medals. The US has the most patents. The US is the richest country in the world by far. The US has the largest, most powerful military. Oh and we were also voted the most admired country by an INTERNATIONAL poll.
  • @AlexWerkmeister712

    Continued-

Google "list of countries by central bank interest rates". You will see that we're the #4 lowest. And also, remember, those countries above us are smaller, easier to manage economies.

The US has a lower % of debt than the average WESTERN country. THAT'S what really matters.

Distribution of wealth? The US middle class is the same, if not better than any other country's middleclass. It's the fact that we have REALLY rich people that mess up the income equality.

  • @AlexWerkmeister712

    continued-

The EU has a higher GDP? LOLOL the EU has 500 million people, 27 countries, and IS NOT a single entity.

The richest COUNTRY is the USA.

Look at all of the countries who spend more on education than we do.....Any similarities? Yeah, they're all small countries. Name one country that has a population over 50 million that spends more on education than we do...

Some countries invest higher into infrastructure and public assets? LOL yeah, they're called socialist.

  • @AlexWerkmeister712

Wow so many things wrong with your comments, i don't know where to begin.

First off, no, 9 countries don't have a higher per capita income. You're talking about per capita GDP, which is NOT per capita income. Per capita GDP is merely the GDP of a country divided by the population. It says nothing about actual wealth.

Google "list of countries by per capita personal income"

You will see that America is #1.

Lower "education levels" are almost explicitly from immigrants.

  • @vigorousAtheist

100 countries have a more equal distribution of wealth (We are on par with Jamaica and Uruguay. Let's put it this way: Cameroon beat us

143 countries invest higher percentages of their GDP into infrastructure and public assets.

63 countries have less national debt percentage of their GDP.

26 countries offer better interest rates (Again, this was pre-recession, so I'd hate to see it now.)
