Devil May Cry Reboot Kills Original Dante (Part 3)

Now that the trailer for DMC is out, I said I would hold my judgment until the hype died down. Well, no less than an hour after the E3 trailer for DMC being released, it died... period. First DMC fans were happy, praising it, but after taking those rose-tinted glasses off and actually analyzing it, reality set in. A shaking Alex Jones said "Fans of the older game where pleasantly surprised." Apparently Jones hasn't looked on the internet, or was it so pleasant to disable the dislike rating during the live youtube interview?

actually, the truth is, DMC3 was reboot and so does DMC4. Reuben said himself in an interview. That is why there's so many difference in DMC, DMC2 with DMC3, DMC4 especially the timeline. as for the DmC, it's a parallel universe.

so it's an original to a reboot to the parallel universe.

That line right there will confuse many, as they have constantly changed their minds on how to approach this. We're now finding out that they want to make Dante MORE HUMAN, when they said he would be 50% half demon and 50% half angel. They've run out of percent. It's just a train wreck at this point. Just like he was suppose to be angry at the world, then we saw him being a ladies man in that one picture.

Dante from DMC3 has already being a successful reboot. having Vergil in the game as well. Dante and Vergil are twins but opposite personality. if this new Dante kinda emo-ish and less talkative, then Vergil will be........fuck, i can't imagine it.

I was reading through a thread on gametrailers, and man these guys have got to be some of the biggest morons on the internet. Most people in the thread were saying shit like "Good I'm glad Tameem doesn't care about those DMC fanboys." Although this was back from 2010.

@halfbreed1426 The fact is most adults cant write an accurate representation of teens due to how fast its sub culture changes. They guess and assume poorly representing horomonal level leaving an imbalance in the character's personality. Japanese anime is starting to do this as well but les preachy with it. They dont know how to realistically regulate emotion or build off a touchy experience a teen my go through, this here is the result. Over angry and overexaggerated.

@halfbreed1426 my problem is the reboot takes away the style and originality it set and emphasized with the anime's book adaptation. Not many are like Dante and now the new Dante just steals from other medias to wreck a strong, solid, original character.
