  • Wow --this is a monster song full of emotion . I had the pleasure of seeing Cupids Inspiration play live many times during the late sixties and early seventies. They were a very dynamic band who knew how to work an audience and Im sure that i can remember them doing a brilliant version of River Deep Mountain High.Wonderful memories --happy days ... Ed from Northamptonshire

That's brilliant Ed, thanks so much for visiting and sharing this. I've never had the pleasure of seeing them live - but have really enjoyed their music since childhood. One special band..

  • Thanks, this is one of the songs I still missed of those beautiful years...

  • @vlisrob

Thank you for visiting, I'm chuffed that you like the song.

  • One of the all time greats. '68 was such a great year (just like the preceding year). Fab, Groovy Man!

  • @jarama77

Yep, '67 and '68 were very good years :) Really glad you enjoyed the song and still appreciate the band.

Thanks so much for your message, I totally agree this is a beautiful and profound song, a real classic. Teddy Randazzo was extremely talented, it's great that you're enjoying his songs. Best wishes.

  • The most important song EVER. Forget silly love songs. This is about what life is really about. Get on with your life now. Make your future happen. Teddy Randazzoh who wrote this said "It's to late to live when you are dead" Teddy Randazzo, singer/songwriter who wrote more than 600 songs, died on Nov. 21 2003 Cause of death was not released. He was 68. I so wish I had met him. magic. talent or what!
