whilst there is no doubt that Lukes version is quite well done, due to the fact it leaves out the last (and what I beleive to be integral) verse I would not say its the 'best' version.

This is great - I'd never heard Danny's version of this song before, although I recognise his voice from others on tapes I heard years ago. It's great to have his music archived here - the more people who hear and keep enjoying his singing, the better for Irish culture.
