@DrSurprise I don't remember the trains having those back then

@azar7834 i couldnt agree with u more. the red birds and the older trains are the REAL DEAL. the R142s and the rest of the new shit they have are not real trains. used to be fun riding the trains with the older models.

Alot of things have changed since the Twin Towers fell on September 11, 2001. They dumped most Redbird trains in the Atlantic ocean. The 9 train was retired and the R40 trains that ran on the A, B, and E lines have retired. New York City is not the same anymore after September 11. I miss the old days. I hate the R142 trains. The R142 Trains are not real subway trains.

well back then in 1998, the r142 was in its extreme early stages. we did not have r142 in 1998. In 2008 we had updated rail cars. Everything started changing after 9/11
What was that sawing noise all about?

If nothing else, the station being maintained. Just focusing on the image when I shot this clip, never mind the noise.

how come that train didnt have the chime sound when the doors closed?
DrSurprise 3 years ago
Sometimes things break down, and fixing the chimes were a low priority here.
