Uranium claims are being staked all over the West. Some of these areas, particularly on Native American lands, have had unreclaimed contamination of water and soil for some 30 to 40 years. Nancy Freeman explaines the urgency of changing the 1872 mining law. Taped at Access Tucson on My Commentary
Hmmn....... now who would want to abolish private property rights? *sniff* *sniff*
Something in here smells like a big pile of commie.

Excuse Me, Ummm....You clearly say America is a free country. Now watch your video and count the times you say restrictions, reform, regulation and laws. You enviromentally insane wacko's won't be happy until all rights are gone. If you don't like living in a free country then move to Iran or somewhere more suitable to you, but leave my rights alone!

We all appreciate your hard work and dedication Nancy. Time is very short for mining law reform and for changing the manner we manage our PUBLIC water supplies. These do not belong to the mines, times have changed. Substitutes exist for most mine products. No foreign corporations! End this travesty!

Excellent, I didn't realize you were posting to youtube. Maybe we should link your user name to our website. I found it by accident searching for 1872.

I do know the Black Hills and I have seen Riley Pass area. At Pine Ridge, they can't drink the water. It's not a matter of treaties and atrocities of the past--this is here and now.

Thank you so much for bringing attention to this matter. It's time this country quit trying to conquer the world and started taking care of our responsibilities at home.
