Yeah, it's a good place. Is the Mini-Indy winners plaque still on the wall there? I used to race in those. Man they were fun! I still wish you'd go counterclockwise around the oval though.

About the baby powder; it makes the track more fun/challenging to control the car, reduces the amount of traction in event of impact, and minimizes tire wear. We've had customers show up with their own powder, in case we're running low because they love it. We feel the Oval is pretty awesome just as it is, but we're always open to suggestions, and love it that you guys are so into it! This is a good time of year to come in;; you'll get lots of ride time. Thanks, and come visit us soon! : )

There are lots of reasons why we want to keep people off the lower sections of the banks in the Oval. The pressure and weight of the cars on the tires causes the tubes to pinch, therefore...flat tires. Besides, since the track was never constructed with a designated pit area, we try to keep customers above the 'red line' because it's the only place to park unused cars.

To tell you the truth, I used to race at that track also years ago. The attendents there told me the exact same thing. I've always wondered if that a larger diameter tire on the right rear would solve that problem. Or just go to solid rear axles, like real racing karts. It's a good fun track though and your hint about driving it works........until some smart-aleck attendent throws powder all the way up the turns.

I made the same comment on another commercial on you tube. I got a response that due to the left rear wheel being the drive wheel they half to go that way. I guess going the ohter way would take the drive wheel off the ground. I've been there and my hint for the banked oval is to run high and stay out of the powder and on the gas. Much more traction up high.

Um, you're going the wrong way on the oval.

Hi Donovan. FYI: The people that conducted the Haunt last year (SlaughterHaus) OWN Post Road Recreation Center. They've simply went into partnership this year with Bob and Dan...just so you know! : )
