  • When did this air on tv?

  • sometime Last year, 2007. Sorry I can't be more precise than that ;-))

  • Yes it is. Pity it's only a bit of fiction, at the moment anyway. Though there is a fair bit of truth in it.

  • i dont get why his wife is so uncaring and almost judgemental taowards him in this . she didnt seem to be against it when the war broke out

  • Woah, Robert Lindsay does a better Tony Blair impersonation than Michael Sheen

  • Historically inaccurate, far fetched and unfair, but pretty entertaining.

  • @OTimeMasterXO Robert Lindsay is one of Britains best actors.

  • i was on this movie. that little boy is me :).

  • im surprised bLAIRS supporters weren't flying EU flags...

  • @OTimeMasterXO Michael Sheen has too much of a silly nature about him. Tony Blair was a very serious and very stressed man and I think Lindsay does him spot on.

  • They seriously should have had Michael Sheen in this. He would have been so much better than this guy as Blair.

  • @RPenta Unfortunately, as an American, we will probably never put Bush and Cheney on trial because here, our politicians are also our heads of state so we do not treat them with disrespect no matter how egregious their errors may be. Not that I would not like to see Bush and Cheney sent to Prison. Unfortunately, Obama, who I liked, has begun to drink the Kool Aid as well. Better luck with Cameron for you guys.

  • As an American, I apologize to my British Brothers and sisters that my President George W. Bush abused our relationship. The United States and Great Britain have a long tradition of mutual alliance since even before the days of Churchill and Roosevelt and we abused that Special Relationship. Hopefully our governments will pull the troops out of Afghanistan and we can work to create lasting peace in Israel and Palestine.
