Greenland Adventure Race - more than just a race

The video is a video diary of the Greenland Adventure Race of 2007 following the participants through rough weather, past icebergs and great mountain ranges to reach the finish line in the village of Igaliko. Teams from Denmark, Australia, Greenland, and the US participated in the GAR of 2007 set on the world's largest island.

Filming in remote locations, in the sub-Arctic wilderness, proved to be a challenge - something that is clearly evident in the film itself: it is filmed on several formats, using several cameras spanning from high quality HDV to pocket cameras in all imaginable kinds of weather. Sun, gale-force winds, rain, sleet, and snow. The production really was at the mercy of the elements during the GAR of 2007.
