Wow you make dressing look so easy!

Now this is much more my style. I had clicked on another name telling over forties what to wear and I had to gag because their style looked more like late fifties, sixties and even then I won't wear old lady colors or loud prints! Thank you!

You should have shown belts for casual wear like with jeans a t-shirt.

Could I wear a tank top just a cotton one or a camisole, with a thin belt where you put the 2nd belt in this video, and jeans, would that work???

Thanks for the belt video Amy, I loved it. Your fashion videos are the best on youtube.
Yay! More SnS's! I really enjoy the episodes with simple things like belts; accessories seem to be forgotten so often by people! They're just as important, in my opinion.
Out of all, I'd have to say I like the kimono belt style the most. It's so classy and pretty, yet, like you said, very bold!
I have a couple questions, if you don't mind me asking: Could you clarify on the "no belts with low risers"? And what kind of style/material belts can be shortened?
P.S. I love the bobby pin trick!

I love that you always comment and that you always have so much to say! A man after my own heart:)
To answer your questions: No belt with low risers is really geared towards anyone with any sort of mid-section. Adding a cinch in that area only accentuates the problem. Plus, you really don't want to cut yourself off around your hips, it makes you look bigger. If anything, only tuck your shirt in if the pants are higher, otherwise put the belt over an un-tucked shirt.

For the second question: Any kind of belt can be shortened as long as there is nothing obstructing it from the inside, such as studs or metal work. Your "shoe guy" should know what will or will not work. DO NOT ever just cut off the end of your belt... how tacky!!!
P.S. I love the bobby pin trick too! Made it up myself:)
