  • Im surprised the outhaul stayed

  • @europe1273, nice story and if you want to look up the weather charts be my guest, as that day it was an average of 29knts gusting 35 so i would count that as "30knts". plus who was arguing that fevas are better then a 29er?? i would prefer to sail a feva to a 420, mirror or cadet. and being able to sail in a 160 boat fleet im not complaining about as fevas are the biggest 2 handed class in the UK except 200s.

  • Have you ever sailed in 30kts??? 20 kts are maximum tws in your vid I think... :p And by the way...sail a reasonable class. A hull from a RS Feva weights way more than a laser hull, and even a laser isn´t light weight :D Rs Feva is like the Bobbycar of sailboats :D Sail 29er, 420 or even something trimable, wich not moves like a tank ;) A RS feva could be good in a War battle becaurse its brutaly hard to destroy, but sail racing in a feva??? no thanks ;)

  • The guys at the start were Feva World Champions 2010 and 2nd 2011, with the others all gold fleet this year. Rob & Alice and Owen & Charlie were also in front of us most of the time on the windy first day of the worlds this year, quite impressive given we were 5th out of 160 after the first day.

  • they dont hike hard and do bad jibes :P

  • I have a feva 2 I sail it with my cousin but we never have much wind!

  • soon moving up in a RS Feva XL with my mate :D

  • wish i had winds like that every day in my 29er !! haha 29er FTW !!! :D

  • i sail a laser and when it was averaging 35 knots we when out in a feva and it was great fun

  • i sail a club feva every saterday and they are great boats although they are underpowerd and lack pointing power while single handed although you dont notice it in winds above about 12 knots
