@jerrylo88 Thanks for watching. Picture quality , I have seen better picture quality using Cat.6 cable.
You can transmit Cat5/Cat6 cable up to 1200 feet. Using video balun is cheaper.

what different quality video when using coaxial cable and cat5/cat6 using video balun?
how far can the cat5/cat6 can transmit the video?
what most cheaper? using video balun or coaxial cable?

What kind of internal configuration is used in the UTP/Cat5 cable for this kind of video balum?, the normal network configuration?

@Bloodstar125 A balun is an impedance transformer that allows you to send a signal that requires a certain impedance value (such as 75 ohm for video) over a cable that has a different impedance (such as CAT5 that has 100 ohm impedance). You need one at each end, one to transform the original impedance to the impedance of the cable and the other to transform it back to the original impedance.

thx for the info.
the coaxial cable can transmit over 1200 feet . Am I right?
how about the voltage that thru the cat5/6 ? it is 12v or more?

@jerrylo88 You can only run coazial cable up to 650 feet . This distances are for a single run of cable with no amplifiers or in-line correctors. You can push 12V or 24V thur Cat5/Cat6 cable
